The NASA-led Gulfstream-V Synthetic Vision Systems Integrated Technology Evaluation (GVSITE) Team installed an integrated version of Synthetic Vision into a Gulfstream V jet, which test pilots flew out of the mountainous Reno/Tahoe International Airport. Flight tests showed that a pilot's flight technical error and situation awareness were significantly improved 150% with the use of the Synthetic Vision System. + Video + View Award Winners + View TGIR 2005
