Students Competitions
2004-2005 School Year

Poster for the Aeronautics-Students Competition 2004-2005.

Letters of Intent for both the high school and college aeronautics competitions are due in January 2005. The high school competition challenges students to characterize societal impacts resulting from widespread use of Personal Air Vehicles by the year 2030. The university level competition requires entrants to characterize the technology and systems required for successful operation of EAVs (Exploration Air Vehicles). 65 Years of Innovation

NASA Ames Research Center celebrates the 65th anniversary of its founding this month. The public was invited to a day at Ames to enjoy displays about the center's history. Public lectures highlighted Ames' contributions to the Cassini-Huygens mission, as well as research in robotics, information technology, aeronautics, and space science.
