The Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate released a "Request for Information" (RFI) on January 3, 2006, for each of its three research programs. Responses were due by Noon EST, January 31, 2006. Please refer to the RFI for detailed areas of NASA interest, respondent information, and evaluation factors.

The purpose of this RFI was to solicit external interest in collaborative public-private research partnerships for each Research Program. The selected research collaborations will have an initial period of performance of five (5) years, unless otherwise agreed to by the parties.
